The Bun peed on the potty tonight! By which I mean... he was sitting in only a towel on my lap and peed, and the arcing stream ended on the lid of the potty a few feet away, where it created a puddle. He's so literal. Must be the computer geek dad.

It's summer, meaning it's G&T season!

Here's a lesson learned:
don't pour your beverage in an opaque cup.

It makes it really hard to judge how much you have, proportionally speaking, so you may end up with less "It's a gin & tonic!" and more "It's GIN! Oh, and, um, also tonic."

Like I just did. YOW.

And I haven't ever mentioned I'm busy, have I? No? No, I didn't think so. That doesn't sound like me AT ALL.

Some changes at work have me busier than ever, though it's still fun and I'm happy where I am, but I'm regularly collapsing at Pumpkinpie's tuck-in and not coming back out of her room until at least the middle of the night, or sometimes even morning.

So if you're not seeing much of me around yet, still, etc., please remember - it's not you. It's me, the house, the library, the kids, the cat, the laundry...
